Spring fashion colors are determined by Pantene\’s New York Fashion Week runway shows each season. Pantone is known for its color system. Its unique color space is used in many industries, primarily in the printing industry. The company\’s systems have inspired manufacturers of paints, textiles, and plastics. The company is also interesting in the Color of the Year competition, where it is awarded the title of “Color of the Year.
According to Pantone\’s website, the main color for this spring will be coral (living coral), which was also chosen as the color of 2019. It is an uplifting, playful, and optimistic color. Believed by many to symbolize calmness, stability, and confidence, the 2018 Color of the Year was awarded to Ultra Violet.
This year, the site announced a total of 16 colors expected to dominate the first half of 2020. These are 12 bold shades and four neutral colors.
Rather, the focus of Pantone\’s show was primarily on other colors, the more bold ones. They were primarily deep shades of orange, also known as turmeric, and shades of yellow. The shades of yellow ranged from dark to light. Pastel yellow, golden yellow, and neon yellow also occupied their place.
Red will not be absent this spring either, with the fiery Fiesta and the elegant shade of dark red called Jester Red likely to dominate.
Spring will be dominated not only by eye-catching colors, but also by neutral colors. This includes beige in all shades, cool shades of gray, and the popular caramel.
